Don't know where and how U meet A DEAR DEAR Friend!

Life is so unpredictable. You never know life shows which phase in Ur life. Friendship is one most beautiful relation you share in our life time. It’s such an enormous feeling. Just visualize our life without frens.....for me it’s not viable. What so ever I do with my frens are the moments for me to treasure all my life. It keeps me cheered up ever.

Internet facility and social network these days have become a great place to get along with your frens. All the social networks like Hi5, Facebook, Twitter, and many more has made the lives of the frens easier to share their things. Earlier there used be emails which connect the frens in far distance but now its social network that is binding the people from the opposite direction as well. World has become such a small place for frens now. You meet a fren after years, months or what so ever time period the first question you ask, "Hey you have a Facebook profile? Add me up." Really the internet maker owes a big thank you from all the people especially for me I thank the developer a loads.

All those frens whom I met in school and colleges or work station are still with me because of these social networks. I met a fren in social network who neither belong to frens among school, college frens or work station but we have become a good fren now. I met with him about more than a year back in Gmail. I am really sorry that I dun even remember how we get in touch with, but what so ever the reason was I am very happy to become his fren. It was the time when I used to be using Gmail a lot. Indeed, used Facebook, Hi5, hotmail, Gmail, yahoo but I met him in Gmail. But, strange we never added up each other in Facebook.

It was the time when I was doing my internship in "The Himalayan Times" when we came in contact. I used to share my feature ideas to him and he used to help me. Even he used to counsel me some ideas and suggested me to send some writing so that he can publish it in some other newspaper. But after I finished my internship I was appointed in News24, as an English newsreader and did a little of reporting. During this time I was not so much in contact with him. After resigning from N24, I again him in Gmail but i was going to Dharan. I never told him I was going to bid good bye to the journalism world some couple of years. I enjoyed some golden moments of my life in Dharan and as I came back started to work again. I worked staying away from the field of journalism but rumors of me working in some newspapers and television came up time and again.

My life took another unpredictable change on 5^th Feb, 2011. I had already become so much addicted to the Facebook by the time. One morning I was just checking up new updates in my Facebook profile and I got a notification of a new fren request. I was shocked and my eyes and mouth were wide open. Without doing any delay I first checked if he was the same guy I had lost contact for a year. After making sure that he was the same person, I quickly added him up. I saw him online and sent him an msg, “Are u the same guy? M so shocked…where did u find me?”

 We talked for a while and left for ofis but before that he asked me for my number. He was a fren wid me since a year and more so I found no reason to not give him my number. We shared our number and bid good bye for each other.

In the evening he made me a call and then we realized our life had changed so much. He was thinking I had joined “The Reporter” but I never had. His life also had taken a drastic change, he had been appointed to sub –editor in Sapthahik of kantipur Publication. I was so happy to hear about his progress. He was inviting me for CAN InfoTech but I was able to join him. On Monday Evening, I called him for coffee; he joined me in The Bakery Café. With the sips of coffee, we shared our pains and happiness. Those people who used to be sharing the issues for news and features now started to share the good and bad phases of life.

I used to think this guy must be a big man, strong but when I met him he was just like me. Smiling, Innocent, Fun loving, Caring and a very capable man. His deviation toward work is the best character I see on me. A friend with whom I can share everything with full trust. Thank you to the social network creators and internet that I met such a wonderful person as my friend. Oh Gosh! Now I realize I haven’t disclosed the name of my dear friend! Narendra Raule, a guy from Bajura. Young journalist who practices journalism being based in Kathmandu. I wish him all the good wishes, good luck for his grand success and bright future.
